CALIBER Assist is only available on desktop. It runs in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer. Open this page on your computer to install it; on this device you can still apply on employers' sites and press Mark applied in your dashboard.
CALIBER Assist · Browser extension for desktop
Apply through CALIBER on every other site.
CALIBER submits Greenhouse and Lever applications for you automatically. Postings on Indeed, Workday, iCIMS and employers' own career sites need you to be signed in there, so for those CALIBER Assist works inside your browser: it fills the application from your profile, saved answers and resume, shows what still needs you, and records the application in your tracker when you submit it.
Included with CALIBER Plus and Pro. Sign in to download it.
Update CALIBER Assist How to update
For Chrome, Edge and Brave on a computer, and Firefox as a temporary add-on for now. Safari isn't supported yet.
CALIBER Assist is included with Plus and Pro
Assist fills Workday and other employer sites in your own browser. It comes with CALIBER Plus and CALIBER Pro; the free preview and the Student plan don't include it.
How it works
Fill
Open any job application page and press Fill with CALIBER. Name, contact, work history answers, authorization answers you saved, and your resume go in.
Review
Anything CALIBER would have to guess is left for you and listed. AI-drafted answers are marked so you read them first.
Record
Submit on the employer's site, press I applied, and the job shows as Applied in your CALIBER tracker with outcomes and Debrief.
Install CALIBER Assist
Install it from the Chrome Web Store. It takes a minute, and your browser keeps it up to date for you.
Add it to Chrome
Press the button below. The store opens in a new tab: press Add to Chrome there, then Add extension.
Edge may first ask to allow extensions from other stores. Press Allow, then Add to Chrome.
Connect it
Open or refresh your CALIBER dashboard while signed in. Assist connects itself; its toolbar popup (the CALIBER icon, or under the puzzle-piece menu) shows "Connected".
Install manually
Until it is in the browser stores, CALIBER Assist installs as an unpacked extension. Pick your browser and follow the numbered steps; the one you are using is already selected.
Download it
Press the button. You need to be signed in to CALIBER Plus or Pro.
Find the file and unzip it
It lands in your Downloads folder as
caliber-assist.zip. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All…, then Extract; on a Mac, double-click it. You get a folder namedcaliber-assistwithmanifest.jsoninside. Keep that folder somewhere you won't delete it (for example Documents): Chrome runs Assist from it.Add it to Chrome
Paste
chrome://extensionsinto the address bar and press Enter. Turn on Developer mode (the switch is in the top-right corner). Click Load unpacked and choose thecaliber-assistfolder, the one that containsmanifest.json. Pick the folder, not the zip: zip files are greyed out in that picker.Pin it to the toolbar
Click the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar, then the pin next to CALIBER Assist, so its icon stays on the toolbar.
Connect it to CALIBER
Open or refresh your CALIBER dashboard while signed in. Assist connects itself; click its icon and the popup shows "Connected".
Check that it works
Refresh this page: the line at the top says Installed with the version number. Then open a job from your dashboard with Apply on Site: a Fill with CALIBER button shows on the employer's page.
Keep it updated
A downloaded copy doesn't update by itself. When its icon shows a red ! or this page says an update is ready, follow Keep Assist updated below.

Firefox can only load CALIBER Assist temporarily for now: Firefox removes it every time it restarts, until it is listed on Firefox Add-ons. For everyday use, Chrome or Edge is easier.

Find the file
It lands in your Downloads folder as
caliber-assist-firefox.zip. Firefox reads the zip as it is: no need to unzip it.Load it in Firefox

After a restart, and to update
Firefox forgets Assist when it restarts: repeat step 3. For a new version, download it again, press Remove on the CALIBER Assist card in
about:debugging, then repeat step 3 with the new file.
Safari isn't supported yet. CALIBER Assist runs in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave or Firefox on a Windows or Mac computer. Open this page in one of them and follow its tab. In Safari you can still open a posting from your dashboard, apply on the employer's site and press Mark applied.
Your sign-in token stays in the extension's own storage; job sites never see it. Assist talks only to this CALIBER server.
Troubleshooting
- Load unpacked won't let me pick the zip
- That picker lists folders only. Unzip
caliber-assist.zipfirst and choose the folder it makes. - "Manifest file is missing or unreadable"
- The folder you picked is one level too high or too low. Choose the folder that has
manifest.jsondirectly inside it. - The dashboard still says CALIBER Assist Required
- Browsers add an extension only to pages opened after it was installed: refresh the dashboard tab. Check that CALIBER Assist is switched on in your extensions page.
- The popup says it is not connected
- Open your CALIBER dashboard in the same browser while signed in; Assist picks up your sign-in from there.
- Load unpacked is greyed out or missing
- Developer mode is off. Switch it on in the extensions page (Edge: in the left-hand menu).
- I can't find the downloaded file
- Open your browser's downloads list (Ctrl+J on Windows, or the downloads arrow on a Mac) and click Show in folder.
- Firefox: CALIBER Assist is gone after a restart
- That is expected for a temporary add-on: open
about:debugging, click This Firefox and Load Temporary Add-on… again. - Safari
- CALIBER Assist doesn't work in Safari yet. Use Chrome, Edge, Brave or Firefox on a computer.
Keep Assist updated
Latest version: see the download above.
Download the latest CALIBER Assist
Installed from the Chrome Web Store? It updates by itself, usually within a few hours of a new version. To update right away, click the CALIBER Assist icon in your toolbar and press Update now.
Assist checks for a new version on its own (when it is installed, when the browser starts and every few hours). When an update is needed, its toolbar icon shows a red ! and its popup has the button to update. Press the icon to see the installed version and Check for updates.
Installed from the download before? Switch to the Chrome Web Store version once, so it updates by itself: open chrome://extensions (Edge: edge://extensions, Brave: brave://extensions), press Remove on the old CALIBER Assist (the card with a round Reload arrow), then press the store button at the top of this page and refresh your CALIBER dashboard. Remove the old copy first: otherwise both copies run and every application page gets two Fill buttons.
Why downloaded installs don't update: your browser updates only the extensions it installed from its store. A folder you loaded with Load unpacked is never checked for a newer copy. To update it:
- Download the new zip (the button above) and unzip it.
- Open
chrome://extensions(Edge:edge://extensions, Brave:brave://extensions) and press Remove on the old CALIBER Assist. - Press Load unpacked and pick the new
caliber-assistfolder, the one withmanifest.jsoninside. - Refresh your CALIBER dashboard. You confirm each job site again once.
Don't unzip over the old folder: a Mac puts the new files in a second folder, so the old version stays loaded. Installs from the Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons or Firefox Add-ons update by themselves.
What it never does
It does not submit for you, does not sign in to Indeed or LinkedIn for you, and never invents identity, work-authorization, security-clearance or demographic answers. Those come only from what you saved in CALIBER, or they are left for you.
